Kisko Milega Cash

Star One channel has been offering relatively new experiences to television viewers. Laughter Challenge, Nach Baliye, Bluff Master were some of their unique offerings. And now the channel has come up with an original concept for a game show titled Kisko Milega Cash.

The show will have three judges out of which two will be constant and the third judge would be a celeb guest who will keep changing every episode. The two constant judges will be Anil Dharker and Neena Gupta. The celeb guests will be the likes of Renuka Shahane, Sudha Chandran, Jaya Bhattacharya, Vidya Malvade, Shivaji Satam, Rucha Gujrati. The show will be hosted by Vinod Sherawat .

Talking about the show, Ravinath Menon executive vice-president Content and Communication, Star India, says, “This is a bold attempt and the show is one of its kinds. The format is not been picked up but is an original concept of the channel. Through this concept we will be rewarding a huge sum of money to people who are in actual need of it.”

“Each set of contestants, three per episode, have been chosen by our creative team and will be judged by the viewers through SMSs in totality. The judges’ comments and inputs will help decide the viewers on their final judgment,” informs Menon.

The winner of each episode will be announced on the episode the very next day. The winner will be awarded a sum of five lakhs. There will be two lines to each SMS. One would be for voting and the other line would be for the people who would want to donate to help a particular participant fulfill his desires or necessities even if he may not be the winner.

Ravinath Menon says, “The participants will get 60 seconds each to voice their dreams, desires, necessity or need for the money. They then will be questioned by the judges and our team will cross examine the authenticity and genuineness of their needs by asking their neighbours, friends and family.”

Each episode will involve questions, cross questions, debates, reality shots, arguments and lot more. To kill the monotony of the episode every Thursday there will be performances by the participants. For example there will be three magicians or three musicians who would showcase their talent on episodes that will be aired on Thursdays.

The first capsule is of 28 episodes and if the show and its concept will be appreciated by the viewers the channel will continue with the second season. There will also be a bumper prize of Rs 25 lakhs which will be won by the best-of-the-best at the end of the season. The channel at present is concentrating on the participants from Mumbai. As the show will progress they will target participants from other towns as well.

Vinod Sherawat, the host of Kisko Milega Cash says, “After a long time somebody has come up with such an idea. We have been watching reality show based on dance and music with celebrity participants. They all believe in making rich celebrities richer. But this show would help the aam janta fulfill their dreams and desires.”

The show starting from March 3rd will be aired at 10pm from Monday to Thursday.
