Ekta Kapoor is all set to launch a new
romantic show titled Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil which replaces Kasauti
Zindagi Kay on Star Plus. Interestingly the show was earlier christened Khandaan.
We wondered whether numerologist Sanjay Jumaani had a role to play in the name
change. “As I suggest each and every title for Ekta’s shows, this
too was one of them. Khandaan and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil both
gave good vibrations. It was totally a creative decision to choose the name. I
don’t want to comment on that,” says Sanjay. Do
you think such a long title will work? “DDLJ, Kal Ho Naa Ho, etc were good
and big titles, but they worked. The new title and the show will also work with
Ekta’s hard work and my support,” he adds. “The title Kis Desh…
suited the story line well. We had given Jumaani few more names but this title
suited the best. Khandaan sounds more like a family drama and this is a
love story so the channel and the production house mutually decided on Kis
Desh…,” reveals the source from the production house. It’s been
also heard that you have asked Additi, the lead actress in the show to add an
extra D to her name. “Ekta asked me about this new girl. As far as her date of
birth is concerned she is blessed with a right ‘dreamy’ and romantic moon. It’s
similar to that of SRK, Dilip Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. Her vibration is good but
to come with the ruling and the strong number 2, I suggested that she add an extra
D to her name. She will gel well with Ekta as 2 and 7 numbers go well with each
other,” he explains. Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil is a story
of promises and an immortal love that transcends all boundaries. It is set against
a traditional Punjabi family backdrop. Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil is the
story of two friends Balraaj Maan (Virendra Saxena) and Lalit Juneja (Deepak Quazir)
who live in Ambala and the promise they make to each other….the promise which
decides the destiny of their children Heer (Additi Gupta) and Prem. After
so many permutations and combinations let’s see if all goes well for the show.
