Shalini S Sahuta who is currently doing Gupshup Coffee Shop recently had a horrific experience shooting for an ad-film. Shalini informs, “I was asked to go to Pune for three days by Ravi Deshpande’s production house for an ad-film. I had blocked three days for the shoot. But I left on the same day as I had a nasty experience.”

She continues, “We reached there at 6:30 p.m. and I was asked to be ready for the shoot with make-up by 7:30. But they kept me waiting till 11:00 p.m. Then I was asked to get my outfit approved by the director which should have happened much earlier. I asked the assistant director for the script who said that there had been many changes and he would provide me with the same within some time. After which the agency guys asked me to go back to the hotel. I did so and was shocked at the condition of both the hotel and my room. There were someone’s underclothes drying behind a curtain in the room. Then to my utter shock the assistant director Dilip came at 1:00 p.m. saying that agency guys felt that I looked like a kid and that they wanted someone a little older. And most importantly they had offered me the ad after they had auditioned me. So what were they doing then?” she thunders.

Shalini says, “I was completely taken aback with the whole incident and was left speechless. I asked them to take me back to Mumbai immediately and to make it worse Dilip told me that he would drop me to the station or arrange for a cab. It was 3am!” Finally on Shalini’s persistence they arranged a car for her.

Shalini says she was so appalled by the whole incident that she was completely rattled by the bad experience.
