King Khan is all set to return to television. No, we are not talking about KBC but a new game show called Bade Hue Toh Kya Hua on Star Plus. A Synergy Production offering, the show is on similar lines as that the international show titled, Are you better than the fifth grader?

“It will be a quiz show which SRK will host. The name of the show is tentative, we haven’t finalized it yet,” says our source.

In a recent interview Shah Rukh Khan has said that he will be coming back to television soon. Even at a recent award function Siddharth Basu (Synergy) stated that he’ll soon be working with SRK on television. Basu and Keertan of EVP and GM, Star Plus did not comment on the show saying that they were in a day-long meeting.

The format of the show is based on the intellect of adults and whether they are able to answer simple questions that are taught to children from first to fifth standard. The general knowledge of an adult will be questioned.

“The launch date of the show is not yet decided but again tentatively it’s somewhere in April. It will be a weekend show. Change in time and date of launch is subject to change,” adds the source.

There is no doubt that SRK is an actor with a strong business sense. He sure knows where to put the money.

But all said and done SRK as a TV host is a treat. So welcome back Badshah!
