Varun Badola aka Sandeep of Ek Chabi Hai Pados Mein is an actor who wants to experiences all related genres. Badola has recently begun directing and scripting.

“I’ve got experience in directing and script writing. When I got the opportunity to try my hands at this in Ek Chabi… I happily accepted it,” says Varun.

Not many people know that before he took up acting Varun was directing and scripting television shows. He worked as an assistant director for 5 years with Digmanshu. “For Ek Chabi… I went and asked the producers (Anupam Khalidar) if I could direct. He agreed and this is how I began,” he adds.

So when can we see you as full-fledged director? “That the audience has to decide. When they feel they have seen enough of me, I’ll come back as a director,” he laughs.

“I really haven’t planned anything as it’s difficult to do all three things together (Scripting, directing and acting). For this you have to be in proper sync with the producers. I share a good rapport with them thus the task becomes easy,” he chirps.

What about your script writing? “I had been writing the script of Ek Chabi since the show started. By doing this I can feel the responsibility and am also able to deliver better,” he informs.

How do you manage to do it all? “When you talk about it this seems difficult. But to be frank it’s not so complicated. I direct for only 2 to 3 day per schedule. As for the scripting I do get time. But, yes, I do focus more on my acting.”

Acting, singing, scripting, directing……… Kya baat hai!
