It was party time for JD
Majethia. On a professional high JD had more than one reason to celebrate.
It was not only his birthday but also the launch of his new serial, Ek Packet
Umeed. Hats
Off production house’s co-producer JD celebrated this event with his
family, friends and the media. The producer threw a lavish party which was attended
by his friends Shefali Shah, Sakshi Tanwar, Swaroop Sampat and the cast of his
serials. Also present at the occasion were Sarita Joshi, Satish Shah, Rakhi Sawant,
Nandini Singh and JD’s business partners Aatish Kapadia and Deven Bhojani. |
The
actor-producer cut five cakes depicting his five serials including Ek
Packet Umeed that took off yesterday. His other four shows are
Baa
Bahoo Aur Bab, Chaldi
Da Naam Gaddi , Remote
Control and Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family. An excited
JD said, “There is a big reason behind the five cakes. Hats
Off Production has come up with its fifth show. Also my birthday
falls on fifth of February. My wife’s birthday falls on 23rd of January and two
plus three makes it five. Personally too I have five friends. So you see the power
of five.” The actor invited all the actors from all his shows to
cut the cake with him to mark the success of the shows and the production house.
There was a lucky draw for all those present and Majethia offered cash prizes
of five rupees, fifty rupees, five hundred rupees and five thousand rupees respectively.
Majethia said in good humour, “The luckiest one would be the one who would receive
five rupees. Luck would always favour him if he/she never spends that five rupee
note.” All those present were given a return gift in a packet named
Ek Packet Luck. The packet contained the lucky Buddha.
