Shweta Shinde aka Meghna of Parivaar is multitalented. Besides acting in soaps and films dancing also interests her. Last night Shweta along with other Marathi actresses like Resham Tipnis and Varsha Usgaonkar performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

“It was a great experience and honour to perform in front of the President. We all were very excited about the whole event,” says Shweta.

It was the first time that a Marathi show took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. “Pratibaha tai liked our performances and felicitated each of us. She even recognized me and said that she watches my shows and I’m doing a great job.”

Beside Parivaar which are the other shows that you are planning to take up? “Currently I’m busy with Zee Gaurav Awards which will take place on 9th of this month. I’m enacting a small comedy play. Besides that I just completed a Marathi film titled Jai Malhar with Milind Gunaji. So there is less time to take up any other serial. Until I get good offers I am happy and content with what I have,” she explains.

Dancing her way into the nation’s heart is Marathi mulgi Shweta.
