Harshad
Chopra who rose to fame as Ali from Left
Right Left is currently out of work.
Some time back it was reported that all
the stars of Left Right Left were sacked
enmasse. We caught up with the actor to
know it all.
“All of us were not happy with the way
our characters were shaping up and thus
we all quit the show. We were not sacked.
Now I’ve to start from scratch again. It’s
like a new beginning for me,” says Harshad.
Harshad
is busy meeting people and looking for some
quality work. “It’s difficult to choose
what I want to do. Currently I’m just giving
enough of time to everything. I’m meeting
people, discussing the script and money.
Nothing has been finalised but there is
one project for NDTV IMAGINE,” he explains.
“It’s a new show which will be a weekly.
I can’t reveal anything as we are still
on the discussion stage. I liked the concept
but need to solve the financial side,” he
adds.
Does not being out of work make you insecure?
“I’m just frustrated not insecure. I am
not used to sitting at home and now when
I have to its making me a little annoyed,”
the actor clarifies.
He was also seen in Sony’s AmberDhara
but allegedly sacked from there also. “I
was not sacked. There were some misunderstanding
between me and the production house and
thus I was out of the show. You can say
that we had a major goof-up while communicating,”
Harshad explains.
Unlike a lot of other TV actors why is
he not eyeing Bollywood? “To be frank I
don’t know how to enter Bollywood. And hence
I’m happy to get space on television,” he
concludes.
Well Harshad just look left, right and
centre and you will surely get some work
