Avinash Wadhawan acts his age

Bollywood actor Avinash Wadhawan who debuted on television with Sahara’s Zindagi Teri Meri.. Kahani is all set to enter Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka-Bidaai. Avinash has also made a cameo appearance in Durgesh Nandini and now is going to play a full fledged role in Bidaai.
He will play the husband to Seema Kapoor and father to the two leads who play the love interest to the lead girls Parul and Sara. Avinash says, “My character’s name is Rajvansh and I am playing Seema Kapoor’s husband. I play the role of a very powerful businessman, a business tycoon who is always busy but makes sure that his wife and sons are provided with all the luxuries. He talks business and is busy making money all the time.”

Avinash is also doing an important role in Sony’s Ambar-Dhara and his entry episode has already been aired three days ago. He says, “I am playing the role of Soniya’s (Shweta Gulati) father who is in love with Akshat. Akshat gets engaged to Soniya but later falls in love with Ambar and thus breaks the engagement which upsets Soniya. I am a father who would go to any extent to fulfill his daughter’s demands. So it is a positive character with some grey shades to it.”

Avinash is gung-ho about his television offers and feels that a role doesn’t matter. He says, “I have met so many TV actors who are also my friends and they tell me that it is a gamble and one should not expect anything out of it. You never know how your character develops and how the audiences love you. I have left it to God to frame my destiny.” “I could not ask for anything better. Bidaai is the best running show on Star Plus with good TRPs and also comes on the 9pm slot. It’s an honour to be a part of it,” adds Avinash.

Avinash feels that if not the lead then the next most important role would be that of a father so he agreed to play a father in Bidaai. He says, “I cannot play the lead now at this age. So I thought the next best role that gets the importance in the serial is that of a father’s. I am going to shoot it from tomorrow and it would be aired in the next four days.”

Avinash is also looking to make it big in Bhojpuri cinema. Avinash reveals, “The first copy of my Bhojpuri movie Mahamaya is out. But unfortunately not all Bhojpuri movies get released and most distributors just seem to be interested in Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kissen.”

Talking about Bollywood, Avinash too wants to return to the big screen but this time not as a hero but as a villain. He says, “Like others Bollywood is on my mind too but this time I want to do a strong negative role. Today I am seeing actors doing supporting roles so why not try a negative role? It is better than doing an inconsequential role.”

As Avinash bounces back with full force we wish him well
