Guddi Maruti is making a comeback on prime time with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on Star Plus. The bubbly actress will be seen in a negative stint as Chandrakal Chachi. Not many know that before this she was busy doing a show on Disney channel called Agadam Bagdam Tigdam.

“I play a negative role in the show. The concept of the show is very similar to that of the Cinderella fairy tale and I was waiting since long for such an interesting character,” says Guddi.

Talking about her stint in the show she says, “Chandrakala chachi is like a step mother to the main protagonist Rani (Anjali Abrol). With a negative act there is a pinch of comedy to my character which makes it more interesting to work and watch it. I have always wanted to do something like this. It feels great to be back with fiction after 5 years.”

Are there any plans of you coming on the big screen? “Well as of now there is less chance. I don’t want to over work. I’m happy doing this one show as I want to simultaneously concentrate on my family too. I took up this show after my Disney show got over. I’ll only take up something if it really evokes me,” concludes this bubbly actress.

Currently Guddi is waiting for the show to go on air. We hope she’ll be able to create the same magic as before
