Babul Supriyo’s woes on K for Kishore continue. First, his very participation in the show was challenged by NDTV Imagine which was of the view that after having signed for their musical reality show Dhoom Macha De, he wasn’t eligible to take part in any other show. The two parties went to court and the court permitted Babul to host K for Kishore. But there was a caveat. The court ruled that he could only host but not sing on that show because that would mean breach his contract with NDTV. However, Babul accidentally erred in one of the episodes when he sang a Kishore song. This resulted in the court issuing him a stern warning.

Despite repeated attempts, Babul was unavailable for comment. However, a reliable source informs, “Babul wasn’t supposed to sing but he accidentally slipped in one of the episodes. NDTV were quick to catch this and they complained. The court issued a stern warning to Babul. He’s been taking utmost care since then.”

As they say, old habits die hard. How can you restraint a singer from singing?
