At a time when he’s launched a new show (Pari Hoon Main) for Star One, Ravi Chopra’s (BR.Films) criticism of the channel takes one by surprise. The bone of contention here is the abrupt end to his earlier show Viraasat which after being aired on Star Plus was shifted to Star One.

When asked what prompted this action Ravi said, “That was never my decision. Since KBC 3 was due for its launch, the channel (Star Plus) deemed it fit to shift our show on Star One. We had to make way for KBC. Once this occurred, I lost interest in the show. The result of KBC 3 was never encouraging. At the time Viraasat went off air, it was still drawing a TRP of 6, something KBC could never match. Star Plus realised their mistake and we suffered for it.”
