Some
of the most die hard Kishore Kumar fans
are currently displaying their passion for
the singer on K for Kishore. However,
those who haven’t made it to the show aren’t
shying away either. 39-year-old Romit Majumdar
is one such hardcore Kishore fan.

In his bid to express his love for his
idol, Romit is travelling by road from Kolkata
to Mumbai to cheer the contestants on the
show. Says Romit, “I’m not participating
in K for Kishore. I’ll be there to cheer
the contestants. This journey is a tribute
to my God. I wasn’t aware of this show and
it was only after watching it on TV that
I decided to take such a step.”
Romit began his journey from Kolkata on
18th December and he hopes to make it to
Mumbai on 7th January. He’ll be reaching
Indore today. Romit also performs in every
city he halts in and sings Kishore Kumar’s
chart busters.
Kishore, who runs an AC repair shop, had
to leave everything behind in order to make
his trip. Says Romit, “I’ve shut down my
business but I have no qualms over it. My
family too reluctantly agreed to let me
go. When it comes to worshiping your God,
every other thing becomes secondary.”
