Amar
Upadhyay who rose to fame as Mihir of Kyunki
Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has no
time for television. He has recently signed
seven Bhojpuri movies and two Hindi films.
We called him up to know more on this.
“I have not quit television as such. As
I have so many good movies in hand television
has taken a back seat for the time being,”
says Amar.
“I
have seven Bhojpuri movies in hand to complete
and besides that I’m also doing a film called
Sab Khairiyat Hai with Madhavan.
I’ll be doing another Hindi film with Govinda.
I can’t reveal any more as it’s too early,”
he explains.
So when can we see you back on television?
“Well, if only I get some good offers which
excite me. Moreover I don’t want to repeat
my self. I’m content with my current projects,”
chirps Amar.
What about the new show where he is to
play a cop? “I was going to do a show where
I would have played a role similar to that
in CID on Sony but now I’m only doing
movies. I don’t want to talk about that
show now,” he concludes.
Zindagi zandawa phir bhi ghamandva?
