Actors come and go but the show has to go on. Despite the loss of as many as three lead protagonists, Star Plus’ Bhabhi has moved on. The matinee show recently completed its 1200 episodes.

Produced by UTV, Bhabhi celebrated the completion of 1200 episodes with the entire cast and crew at Madh Island on January 25, 2008.

The afternoon show which airs on Mon- Fri at 1: 30 p.m. has had a change of faces but not flavour, is why it still has good viewership and TRPs. Present at the celebration were Kanchi Kaul, Vishal Singh, Vidya Sinha, Director Manoj Krishanater and many more.

"We are introducing fresh faces, young new love stories to zing up the tale and add spark to our show," says Rajesh Beri, the writer of show, who’s been associated since the inception of the show in year 2002.

"Bhabhi is one of us; among us is the true pure essence of the serial. I think this element has helped viewer to connect to their Bhabhi daily," says Richa Yamini, Creative Director of Bhabhi, UTV.

The party continued till the wee hours as the cast and the crew rejoiced their achievements.
