Mreenal Deshraj who was essaying the role of Padmini in Sahara One’s Doli Saja Ke Rakhna is making her exit from the serial. The actress was playing the elder sister-in-law to Barkha Bisht, the protagonist of the serial.

Mreenal says, “I always knew that it was just an eight month track, so it had to end eventually. I was mentally prepared for the track to get over. It was some 15-20 days back when the production house told me about my track getting over so I was prepared.”

So what’s next on her plate? “I have two-three offers but they are not very interesting. I am just taking some time off as of now. I will wait for some good offers. See, I have to be very choosy especially after doing some good roles. I just can’t do anything and everything. I am looking forward to working in better projects in 2008 as I want this year to be better that 2007”, informs Mreenal.
