Soniya Kapoor is one busy actor this year. The sizzling Sonia is all charged up for her cameo on Star Plus’s Kumkum-Pyara Sa Bandhan. Essaying the role of a cop Sonia has already made a grand entry in the show.

“It’s a cameo and I loved the way my entry was shot for the show. I’m playing the role of Deepti, a cop, which is different from my other two shows,” says Soniya.

Elaborating further she says, “Deepti is very different… She is a very straight forward woman and a chilled out cop. Deepti enters the Wadhwa house to investigate the murder and see to it that justice is done,” she informs.

Soniya is already doing two shows, one on SAB, Jersey No.10 and another on Zee, Parivaar. What was the reason then for accepting this cameo?

“Firstly, I’ve never worked with BAG films. Secondly, Kumkum is a big show in the afternoon slot and it feels good to be associated with it. Last but not the least, I like the way my character has been sketched. The entire screen play is so powerful that I immediately said yes to the role,” chirps the actress.

The actress has also received an offer from Cinevista’s new show, Sikandar. “Talks are still on. Let the dates work out and then I will let you know more about the show,” she ends.
