Bhubnesh is all set for a new start. The actor who was last seen in Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki will now be seen in Dahhej on 9X. He is playing the lead role of Soham Metha in the show and is featured opposite Aneesha Kapoor.

“After doing Ankit’s character in Kahanii ... for 5 to 6 months, I took a two months sabbatical. Now it feels good to be back with a new show and a lead role,” says Bhubnesh.

Talking about the story the actor verbalises, “It’s basically a love triangle between Muskaan, Aneesha and me. I can’t reveal much but it’s Dahhej which brings the twist and turns in our life. How it affects the relation of two families.”

Elaborating on his character in Dahhej he says, “Soham is full of energy and a big time prankster. At the same time he is aware of his responsibilities towards his family. He can sacrifice anything for his mom. This character is very close to me as there are lots of similarities between us. I love my mom and can do anything for her. She has raised me alone after my father’s death.”

“I have fantastic co-stars who guide me through the shoot. It feels blessed to work with such people and I hope this shows gains popularity,” he adds.

Bhubnesh is an MBA in marketing who has now ventured into acting. “People in my family are highly qualified so even I had to do it. Besides, it’s also necessary to have option or alternative in this industry,” he says.

Will Dahhej be able to touch the skies? Let’s wait and watch. But it’s a good start for Bhubnesh.
