After the Shinjini episode, one would have expected our reality show judges to maintain calm and composure while giving verdicts. However, Ek Se Ek Badhkar judges Abhijeet and Ahmed Khan are unruffled by this and they certainly never shy away from expressing themselves. Invoking their ire this time is Rajshree Thakur.

The two judges are upset with viewer voting wherein the average performers are garnering more votes than show stealers like Abhishek Avasthi and Kushal Punjabi.

A little birdie informs, “Voicing his concern, Abhijeet said that those contestants who were earlier languishing behind are now gaining sympathy votes from the viewers.

Ahmed Khan, who was stunned to see Abhishek and Kushal in the bottom two, requested the creative team to relieve him from his duty as a judge as he didn’t want to be part of show which applauded mediocre performers”

Quite clearly the judges aimed their barbs at average performers like Rajshree. However, not one to take things lightly, Rajshree reportedly remarked that she is here only because of the love and support of her audience which others are unfortunately deprived of.

Some contestants have made no bones about the fact these judges are very harsh. A few of them have even broken down. We’d earlier asked Abhijeet whether the judges were indeed harsh. To this, he replied, “How can you succeed in life without shedding the tears?”
