Fashion to me is about being comfortable and wearing what you like rather than following trends.

Who chooses your clothes?

It is me who chooses clothes for myself. I prefer to shop along with someone so that I get a second opinion. I don’t really like to shop on my own.

Do you like to accessorise yourself?

No, I just like to wear a watch. Currently I wear an Armani watch. Armani is a brand that has nice simple watches. I would like to wear a Rolex watch, very soon.

Is there any particular brand that you prefer?

I prefer Calvin Klein. I am not brand conscious but I am quality conscious. I hate clothes that wear out in just three washes.

What is your favourite shopping destination?

Like many Indians, my favourite destination for shopping is Bangkok. There is a lot of variety in Bangkok. If you are buying a branded outfit, it will cost the same everywhere but Bangkok has comparatively cheaper rates. Even the stuff that is available on the streets is of good quality.

Which are the clothes that make you feel comfortable?

T-shirts and jeans. Just recently I went to a function wearing a half sleeve casual shirt and jeans when were dressed in suits

Who is your favourite designer?

Arjun Khanna and Rohit Gandhi are my favourite designers. The best part about their designs is that their creations are not metrosexual. They have smart and elegant clothes.

Most expensive outfit you ever bought?

I bought a suit for Rs. 25,000 to wear at a friend’s wedding two years ago. Once I spent too much on a casual shirt. It was a casual Guess shirt for Rs. 9,000.

Any particular colour that you like to see in your wardrobe?

I like a range of colours in my wardrobe and even now I am wearing an orange t-shirt. Unfortunately I can’t wear bright colours as I tend to sweat a lot. I am sweating even in an air- conditioned room, so to camouflage the sweat marks I wear dark colours like black and grey.

A must- have in your purse?

Money of course is a must have in my wallet. Besides money, I always carry a taveez given to me by my mom.

What are the make-up products that you prefer?

Luckily I have a good skin, so I don’t need to wear make- up off camera. Unwillingly, for shoots I have to wear make-up. I am made to wear a base and powder for the shoots.

A fashion tip

Wear your attitude. Different people have different opinion on fashion, so don’t go by others. Wear what you like to wear.

A make- up tip

I am a wrong person to give this advice as I eat chocolates everyday. I feel one should eat everything but have a control on total intake of the day. It is very important to exercise at least thrice a week to have a toned and fit body.
