After announcing the pull off of their two major shows Mere Apne and Jiya Jale, 9X is soon to launch a daily soap titled Angad produced by Sphere Origin. Angad is a fantasy show which will air in the primetime slot.

A source from the production house discloses, "This will be a very different show. The story is about the warrior prince Angad. He is very romantic at heart. The treatment to the show will be unique as compared to any other show running on television. As of now the cast is not finalised and we are still working on the storyline. It is going to be a daily and would air in the primetime slot from 8 pm to 10 pm. The show is slated to start from September."

Sanjoy Wadhva, producer Sphere Origin, remained unavailable for his comment.

We tried contacting Indrani Mukerjea, CEO & Founder INX Media, but she too remained unavailable.

The other show that will replace one of the above shows is Ruby, a daily which has Snehal Sahay, Dimple Jhangiani, Nupur Alankar, Mazhar Sayeed and newcomer Softy Sinha as Ruby.
