The longest running soap sure has to think of innovative ways to keep viewers glued to it. Now that they are done with murders, new faces, plotting and scheming its time to introduce another new gimmick. And this time it’s the return of a known face who had faded for some time. The return of Trishna.

Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki has been showing a mysterious lady who viewers are curious to know about. It’s none other than Mita Vashisht who returns to the serial after a long gap.

Mita is all set to make her comeback as a successful lawyer Trishna who will be the biggest threat to the Agarwal family.

As Om is jailed for Tanu’s murder, his daughter- in- law Gun is fighting his case. A reliable source from the show said, “Trishna will be fighting the case against Om Agarwal and she is determined to defeat him in the court of law. She is a renowned lawyer and a tough rival to the Agarwal family. Her entry will be shot as and when she gives her dates to the production house. One more big twist in the story is that Vijay Agarwal, the current foe of the Agarwal family will now turn into a friend.”

Talking on her return Mita Vashisht said, “Viewers wanted me to come back to Kahaani. People from places like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc, were telling me that they want to see me back in the show. My character and look is going to be the same as the audience wants to see the same Trishna.”

When approached Nivedita Basu, the creative head of Balaji Telefilms, she said, “Mita Vashisht is going to be back because of the script’s requirement. She will be coming back after 7-8 months. Her character is a very interesting character. To know more about the story, you will have to wait and watch.”
