Vineet Raina who became popular with his character Veer from Maayka has turned to Doordarshan and if all goes well he will be soon seen in a new show which is not yet titled.

A visibly upbeat Vineet says, "The show is directed by N. Chandra of Tezab fame. I have shot for the pilot with him and DD has really liked it and now I am awaiting their approval."

Talking about the storyline he informs, "This is a story of two guys and I play the role of a child whose biological mother exchanges him with a rich couple's son. When I grow up she comes back and tells the truth that I am her son and demands money. My character is that of a very sophisticated, educated and ambitious man."

He says that he always wanted to work with DD. "Doordarshan reaches places where no satellite channel can reach. I have my fans in the northern region so I am looking forward to working with them."

Vineet has also decided to get in touch with his fans and wellwishers personally. He has created an account on a community site where he has posted his personal pictures and updates his account regularly. "I had always wanted to get in touch with my fans personally so I decided to create an account where my fans are invited to chat with me."
