Shaleen Bhanot who is seen in double roles as Kanishk and Keshav in Zee's Naaginn is soon to be replaced. He has been accused of throwing his weight around. According to a source, Shaleen, off late, has been throwing tantrums on the sets as he is also busy with serials like Rang and Sangam and a cameo in Dill Mill Gayye.

Shaleen who is under the scanner sounds ignorant to this new development and says, "This is not true and I am not being replaced. Infact we are having lots of fun together on the sets."

Where the actor sounds perplexed, producer Aroona Irani confirms the news and says, "Yes, it is true that Shaleen will be replaced in a week’s time. He has been hassling the production team with his antics and demands. He also has issues with the clothes given to him. Now if one is essaying a character of a tribal how can you afford to be choosy with clothes?"

"I was informed by my production unit that he refused to wear an attire where his legs could be seen. He then troubled the production guys over his clothes. Such antics suit actresses and not actors. One has to be a Dilip Kumar to throw tantrums and no TV actor can near his level," adds the producer.

Talking about the replacement, Aroona informs, "Honestly it was not me who initiated the idea of a replacement. When my unit informed me about Shaleen's attitude I dicussed it with the channel and they decided to replace him. We have not yet zeroed down on any actor but it will be decided within a week."

According to a source Khwaish actor Yasir Shah has been approached to step in Shaleen's shoes but the actor remained unavailable for comment.
