In a real tragedy, Ishmeet Singh Sodhi, winner of Voice of India has passed away. According to television reports, the 19-year-old from Ludhiana drowned while swimming in a pool in Maldives.

It was only this morning that Ishmeet had landed in Maldives to perform in a show.

Ishmeet had rose to fame after winning the inaugural season of Voice of India.

We truly have lost a fabulous talent. We offer our condolences to Ishmeet’s family. May his soul rest in peace.
