The word is out. Colors will launch on 21 July. The new Hindi GEC today unveiled its power-packed line-up of eight new shows showcasing an entire spectrum of emotions. These range across genres – fiction-based social family dramas, fun-filled chat show, high-voltage action reality show, and blockbuster Hindi movies. Colors’ programming basket is clubbed as Jasbaat Ke Rang (Colors of emotions)

Arguably, the one show that will be the cynosure of all eyes is Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi that will be hosted by none other than Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Not to forget the 13 gorgeous female contestants who’ll perform death-defying stunts. Fear Factor.. will air from Monday to Thursday at 10.00 pm.

Among the fiction shows, viewers should definitely watch out for Sphere Origins’ Balika Vadhu – Kaachi Umar ke Pakke Rishte which is based on child marriage. Balika.. will air from Monday to Friday at 8.00 pm.

Lending patriotic fervor to the channel is Deepti Bhatnagar Productions’ Mohe Rang De, a patriotic love story set against the backdrop of the 1942 – Quit India Movement. This daily will occupy the 9.30 pm slot.

How can a programming line-up be complete without a mythological show? After remaking Ramayan, the Sagars now come up with Jai Shri Krishna that will depict the early life of Lord Krishna. This mytho will air from Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm.

The other fiction shows are Jay and Kinnari Mehtaa’s Rahe Tera Aashirwad, Shakuntalam Telefilms'Bandhan Saath Janmon Ka and Playtime Creations’ Jeevan Saathi. These dailies will air at 7, 7.30 and 9.00 pm respectively.

Comedy will be provided by none other than the inimitable Sajid Khan. The actor-turned director returns as a host on television with his own chat show. Titled Sajid’s Superstars, this show will have some of Bollywood’s biggest names as guests. The weekly show airs every Saturday at 10.00 pm.

Colors will bright up your Sunday with some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters like Heyy Babyy, Om Shanti Om and Bhootnath. Well that’s not all, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Singh is Kinng too will be screened later.
