For several weeks, Reena Kapoor maintained that she was in a dilemma whether to quit Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki or not? Well, she has finally made up her mind. Reena’s decided to quit the show.

Reena’s departure is also resulting in a change of track with the show opting for a generation leap. Confirming the news, Reena says, “yes, there will be a generation leap but I’m not going to be a part of it. I didn’t want to play an older character thus I chose to quit the show.”

Reena alone isn’t bidding good bye to the show. There will be more casualties. “From what I know is that 95% of the cast will be new. I reckon they’ve lined up for a new Rani,” added Reena.

A source adds, “The show will witness a generation leap and there will be new actors. The likes of Reena and Rakeshh Paaul are no longer part of the show.”

Kavita Barjatya, producer of the show, remained unavailable for comment.
