| Muskaan
Arora who was last seen on Sony’s Thodi Khushi Thode Gham as Sapna, the
youngest bahu of the Shah family quit the show after a fall-out with the
production house. After a break of seven months the bubbly actress is back with
Siddharth Tewary's Mata Ki Chowki. Talking on her new project,
her life now and her spat Muskaan says: Mata Ki Chowki… Is
a mytho cum social serial and the story of a true devotee of Mata Vaishnodevi.
I essay
the role of Vaishnavi who believes in mata and then how things happen in
Vaishnavi’s life. Firm believer of God… Like Vaishnavi
I too am a firm believer of God. There is no one particular God that I worship.
I visit dargahs, temples and churches. There is no religion when it comes to believing
in the Almighty. Initially I said no to the show… I
rejected the offer as I was still not ready for dailies. But the production house
insisted that I atleast give an audition. An hour after the audition I got a confirmation.
And when I heard the script I loved it and the next day I began shooting for the
show. Changes in my life… After working for the show
there have been a few changes in my life. I have now become calmer and cool headed.
My belief in God has become stronger and I feel well balanced now. Pranks
during the shoot… We have been shooting in beautiful locales. The climate
was good and so was the team. We had a great time as we played pranks on each
other, imitated each and generally had a good time. I was not
comfortable with Thodi Khushi… I opted out of the show and it
went off air after two months. The storyline was stretching too much and this
made me uncomfortable. The producer of the show was also very rude and all this
lead to my exit. One show at one time… I believe in
doing one show at a time. For now I just want to concentrate on the current show.
There is a Bollywood offer but I can’t speak about it as its still on the scripting
stage and the production house is yet to finalise the other actors.
