Good-looking Chhavi Mittal of Tumhari Disha fame and bad boy Shaleen Bhanot are all set to entice TV audiences in Rang, a Rohit Roy production. The show will air on Zee Next from 16 June in the primetime slot at 8:00 pm.

Chhavi says, “The show is a romantic comedy. There are four prominent families in a Gujarati society around which the story revolves. My character Trisha is a self-righteous and meticulous girl. She is an educated girl and has aspirations of her own. She believes whatever she does is right.”

Shaleen Bhanot who is currently seen in Naginn and Sangam will star opposite Chhavi. Shaleen so far has portrayed only negative roles and this is the first time that he will essay a positive role. And hence he is very upbeat about his role.

Shaleen says, “It is exciting as so far I have been running after girls and in this show all the females of the Gujarati society will chase me. They will all try to win my heart. I am playing Manav who has just returned from U.S.A. Manav’s grandfather is the owner of the Gujarati society and he becomes the talk of the town. All the mothers of the society look at me as their prospective son-in-law.”

The svelte actress and the ex-villain as hero will surely woo viewers.
