T
here was a time when plump looking girls were preferred and the shape of men’s
body didn’t matter at all. Then came skinny girls and men with well- built body.
Now its size zero for the girls and six-packs for the guys. Tellychakkar
sizes up a few actors who have a dream bod. Ravee Gupta: I
am genetically blessed with a good shape. I don’t have a tendency to gain weight.
I not just love to eat but I live to eat. My husband yells at me to keep a check
on the amount of food I eat as I am growing older and my metabolism won’t remain
the same. I hate to exercise my body but I will try working out in a gym as it
is not just about being slim but also about strengthening your body.
Karan Hukku:
I
was a national level swimmer. I was always into sports, so I had a good shape
even before I started working out. I work out thrice a week. I eat anything that
my co-actors get for lunch. I love to eat vada pav. I don’t follow diets but my
eating habits are compensated by sweating out in the gym.
Narayani Shastri: I
work out in the gym for forty five minutes and I do yoga for one hour daily. I
eat the regular home made food. I have been into physical activities since my
college days. I used to participate in dance when I was in college, so that kept
me fit. Now I exercise to stay in shape. I do have a tendency to put on weight
but I was never fat.
Abhiman
Ballhara: I
work out in the gym for 30-45 minutes depending on my shooting schedules. There
was a time when I used to work out for hours but then at that time I was in the
process of building my body and now I work out to maintain it. I was a ramp model
earlier where a lean body is preferred whereas in acting, a bigger body is ideal.
Girls too prefer men with a lean body. I avoid eating fats. I eat a lot of vegetables
and oats. I also dance to stay fit.
Karishma
Tanna: I
started working out six months ago to tone my body but I am never bothered about
my weight. I am gifted with a slim body. I am into swimming since my childhood,
so that keeps me in shape. I go for swimming twice a week and I am a massage freak.
I don’t follow diets.
