For months, the rumourmongers have been crying out loud that Kushal Punjabi and Purbi Joshi are a pair. The duo though has always chosen to keep mum. Breaking his silence is Kushal Punjabi who’s finally decided to put an end to these rumours.

Says he, “In the last week, I’ve been asked this a hundred times and perhaps everyone wants me to answer in the affirmative. I don’t want to sound clichéd but the truth is that I’m not seeing Purbi and we’re both very much single. Purbi and I go a long way. I made my television debut with her in Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa. We’ve been good friends since that day.”

Adding further, he says “I have shifted from Bandra to Lokhandwala (Purbi too stays in Lokhandwala. This perhaps, adds to the rumours). We are the best of buddies. She’s aware of my ex-flames and vice versa. At times, I even mock at her that I’m a better guy than the one she’s eyeing. We often dine, shop, and watch films together. Our meetings are just like coming together of two girls or two boys. At times, even our friends want to club us together. I’ve vowed to stand by her through every thick and thin”

Here’s hoping that this friendship lasts for an eternity.
