patterns. Ashka Goradia is a go-getter. At such a young age she has already
made achievements to bank on. She says that being a Gujarati, business is in her
blood.
Get a sneak peek into the financial matters of ambitious Ashka. How
important is money for you? Money being a necessity is important for every
one. It is very important for me. Are you an impulsive buyer? I
am an impulsive person. I buy most of the things on an impulse. What
are the investments you have made? I have made a lot of investments. Every
one knows that I have a salon. I have invested in quite a few things like shares
and mutual funds. I am soon going to start my own production house. I am a true
Gujarati in this sense. What is your most expensive purchase? My
car. I bought it six months ago for nineteen lakhs. Do you feel financially
secure? I feel pretty secure financially. I have been around in the industry
since past six years. By the grace of God, I was never out of work. If you notice
you would know that as soon as my one show went off air I got another one. I have
always got good work and that has made me financially secure. Who handles
your expenses? I handle my own expenses. I take advice from my father in
case of major expenses and investments. What was your first salary? What
you did with it? My first salary was Rs. 200 per day for working as a sales
executive. It was long ago. I handed it to my mother. How much money
do you carry every day? I carry a safe amount of money. Do you
invest in the stock market? As I said earlier I invest in stock market.
I make most of the investments with the guidance of my father. Any advice
for investors? Be careful and aware before making any investment.
