Would you like to go off on a holiday all by yourself?

What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?

Leisure by W. H. Davies

A recent report says that more and more young professionals are taking off on their own to holiday destinations of their choice. This is indeed a telling comment on the kind of stressful lives that we lead. With a packed- to- the- top life almost everyone has no time for oneself. Yearning for some me-time a lot of people are taking off to the mountains, plains, valleys, just anywhere where they can be by themselves.

Do our tellystars who also lead very stressful lives want to back-pack and explore the world all by themselves?

Sucheta Trivedi:

Yeah, I would love to back-pack to Europe all alone. I would also want to explore the villages near Amsterdam. All I would need is some memorable photos of my family and Lord Siddhivinayak as his picture will protect me. I would also carry lots of cash and credit cards. I can’t go anywhere without my cell-phone so that too goes with me!

Juhi Parmar:

I can’t travel alone as it becomes quite boring to travel all alone. I need to have the company of either my sister or my friends. I need to talk to people as I am the kind of person who does not enjoy being alone. I need to share my joys as much as the need to share my sorrows. The destination would depend on the kind of vacation I want to have. If it’s a peaceful vacation I am looking for I would choose a place accordingly and if it’s adventurous then I may go hiking or trekking. I also want to go river-rafting though I am scared of water.

Naman Shaw:

I would love to do that. In fact I do travel all alone every now and then. I have recently been to Lakshadweep Islands. I just love the idea of being with myself. Here you are just busy running because of work and partying. When you are alone there is no one to question you, force you or direct you. Having coffee all alone is ecstatic. I would love to go anywhere nice and quiet especially the outskirts of London and anywhere in Europe.

Karan Patel:

I would die if I am asked to travel alone. I think the sole idea of forgetting issues hounding your life when you are travelling alone gets defeated as you are reminded of those problems more when you are travelling alone. You need the company of someone who you can talk to. I would go to London as many times as I can.

Purbi Joshi:

I have travelled to Europe all by myself as I love to travel alone. I love to back-pack and go anywhere on earth. I am a traveller by heart and the desire to travel pops up every now and then. I would just carry a first-aid box with me. Jokes apart, I can’t go anywhere without my cell-phone as I need to stay connected to my family and friends.
