The upcoming episode of Ek Se Badkar Ek is a shocker as talented Purbi Joshi and Emon Chatterjee get eliminated. This week Kushal and Purbi are in the bottom two and the competition between them in a way clinched Purbi’s fate.

“The two jodis, Purbi-Emon and Kushal-Sanchita were in the bottom two. In the face- off section Emon and Sanchita were asked to sing as Kushal and Purbi competed with each other. The result had it that Kushal-Sanchita went in the safe zone where as Purbi-Emon had to bid adieu to the stage,” reveals a source.

It has been told that Kushal gave an outstanding performance. “He was just great while moving his feet to the song Jaan Main Dum… Purbi also was equally good. It shocked both of them when it was announced that they would have to compete with each other. But both of them took the elimination very sportingly,” informs the source.

There is a tie between Emon and Sanchita. “Yes there was a tie between the two singers. In the face- off session the jodi who is in danger chose Ahmed Khan as the judge and Emon and Sanchita chose Abhijeet. Both were very good and it ended up in a tie.”

“Ahmed Khan did not agree to judge them as he is a dancer. He said that he was not good enough to judge the singers. And then he called Kushal and Purbi for a competition and then decided who will stay back,” quips the source.
