Rajan Shahi’s Bidaai is famous for the team-spirit and the camaraderie among its actors.

They all treat each other like family and bail each other out when in need. Amongst the lot, the two actors who take their on-screen relationship rather seriously off-screen as well are Alok Nath and lead Parul Chauhan (Ragini). Alok, who plays father to Parul in Bidaai, showers the same love and care on her in real life.

Apparently, Alok Nath advanced Parul Rs 4.5 lakh to buy a car. Says a source close to the actors, “Sara Khan recently bought a Spark and came in it to Angad Hasiija’s (Alekh of Rajan Shahi’s Bidaai) birthday party. It was then that a concerned Alok advised Parul to buy a car too. But when Parul told him that her monthly expenses didn’t leave enough to save for it, Alok said that he would buy her a car.”

“The next morning Alok Nath signed a cheque worth Rs. 4.5 lakh in the name of Parul Chauhan. She has her eyes set on an i10,” adds our source.

Another source from the production house says, “It is true that Alok Nath has given her an amount of Rs 4.5 lakh, but it has to be repaid by her later. He has just lent the amount to her."

When contacted, Parul denied the news and said, “It is not true. Babuji (as she fondly calls Alok Nath) has not given me any money. I had applied for a loan to buy a car. Once my income tax file gets the clearance I will be able to buy it. I expect it to get cleared within the next four days.”

Where Alok too refutes the buzz, our source remains adamant on his news.
