Define fashion

It is something that is my choice. Fashion for me is about me and my comfort. I should like what I am wearing.

Who chooses your clothes?
Most of the time, it is my girlfriend Rekha who chooses clothes for me. She shops for me as I don’t get the time for shopping. We do have our basic arguments and disagreements. She cares for me and is fully aware of all my likes and dislikes, so I let her do the choosing.

Do you like to accessorise yourself?
No, accessories for me are limited to a watch. Besides a good watch, I don’t like wearing accessories.

Is there any particular brand that you prefer?
Yes, there are a few brands that I prefer over the others. I love to wear DNG, Diesel and Energy. I prefer these brands because they belong to my choice. Their clothes have the cuts and style that cater to my liking.

What is your favourite destination for shopping?
My favourite shopping destination is New York. I shop from there twice a year. Recently, I had gone to New York for a photo shoot campaign and I bought some great stuff from there.

Which are the clothes that make you feel comfortable?
I feel comfortable in different type of clothes like trousers, shorts and any other thing depending on the occasion.

Who is your favourite designer?
Among the Indian designers, Ashish Soni is my favourite designer. From the international ones, I opt for Roberto Cavalli, Ed Hardy and the brands that I mentioned earlier. I have recently found a new designer brand which I quite like. It is called Seven.

Most expensive outfit you ever bought?

It is the Hugo Boss jacket that I bought last year for Rs. 35,000. There are many expensive outfits like jeans that I keep buying for Rs. 25,000 or so.

Any particular colour that you like to see in your wardrobe?
I like to see white, off white and peach shades in my wardrobe but my girl friend insists on adding more vibration and colour in my wardrobe.

A must have in your wallet?
Money should be a must have in everyone’s wallet. As I am a little careless, I hardly carry money or even credit cards. I just carry Rs. 200 in my wallet. Earlier, I used to carry a picture of my girlfriend but from the time my old wallet got lost, I don’t even carry that.

What are the make-up products that you prefer?
I never use make up not even for the shoots.
