Jasveer Kaur, who is currently seen in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan was approached for the Balaji reality show Gharwali Baharwali along with a dancing and singing reality show Ek Se Badhkar Ek produced by UTV. Jasveer chose the latter for two reasons. Firstly, a daily soap and two reality shows are extremely taxing. Secondly her husband Azim won’t be able to devote much time for the show. The format of Gharwali Baharwali is such that one has to participate with his/her real life and on-screen partner on the show. Her husband Azim is going to be busy with his film which is due to release in July.

If Jasveer were to be a participant in Gharwali Baharwali, Romit Raj would have been her Baharwala in the show as she was his on- screen wife in Betiyaan. “I am feeling sad for Romit as he won’t be able to participate in the show because of me. He was looking forward to being a part of this show,” expressed Jasveer.

In Ek Se Badhkar Ek, audiences will watch jodis of a television actor and a singer from singing reality talent hunt shows. Jasveer is geared to shoot for the first episode of Ek Se Badhkar Ek. She is done with her dance rehearsals for the show but she is yet not aware of her partner. “Our partners are kept as a surprise for us too. So, none of us know about our partners. All the singers roped in for the show are immensely and equally talented. I am curious to know who my partner is. I feel, more than actors the singers have to worry about their partners as they are professional and all of them can sing well whereas we are non- professional dancers,” said Jasveer.

She is not only thrilled about her new reality show but she is also excited about the release of her husband’s film. Like all good wives, she is supporting and cheering her husband. “I have watched the movie and I really liked it,” said Jasveer.

Let us see how right her decision turns out to be. The best part is that she is going to have fun dancing.
