| The
gruesome murder has shocked the entire nation. And as the case still remains a
mystery TV viewers will get to watch the gory details in a daily
soap. Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki has reconstructed the Aarushi murder case on
the small screen. A story track in Star Plus's Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki is
adapted from the real life murder case recently. Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki will
be taking a major turn with its track bearing close similarity to the Aarushi
murder case in the coming week. Parvati's granddaughter, Tanu will soon get murdered
leaving the Agrawal family in shock when they find out that the murderer is one
of them. The murder will deal with the issue of honour killing. This track will
be shown in the episodes to be telecast on
16th to 19th of June. This is not the first time that
Balaji Telefilms has got a real life incident in the track of their serial. “Yes,
we include such topical stories in our show’s track because we like dealing with
real topics,” said Nivedita Basu, Creative head of Balaji Telefilms. When asked
if Parvati is the person who will be accused of Tanu’s murder, Nivedita said,
“I can’t reveal that. You will have to watch the serial to know about it.”
The character Tanu is a rebellious girl who believes in doing her own things.
She feels that elders like Parvati and Om Agarwal who preach values and morals
are themselves shallow as human beings, so she does not need to obey them. The
characteristics of Tanu are allegedly similar to the image of Aarushi that was
portrayed by the media. Getting a sensitive case like this in a
show’s track might get people’s attention towards the show but misrepresentation
of facts would be unfair to the real victim and her family. Let’s hope Balaji
handles this real life topic as sensitively as they did earlier.
