Vineet Raina is soon going to be seen in an epic. The name of the show has not yet been finalised. It is a drama that depicts the freedom struggle of India. The show is believed to bring the unnoticed heroes of the freedom struggle to the forefront. The main hero of the story is Siraj-ud-daula and his character is reportedly going to be played by Vineet Raina.

“The show is an Innovative 9 production and will be directed by Shrikant who was formerly a chief director to N. Chandra. Vineet Raina might play the lead role,” confirmed our source. “The show is going to be telecast on Zee Next but the time slot is not yet decided. It will be on air in the first week of August,” said Shrikant. When asked whether Vineet Raina will play the role of Siraj-ud-daula, he said, “Siraj-ud-daula is the first hero but there are many heroes in the story and we are on talks with many actors for those roles. I wouldn’t like to name them.”

The shooting is expected to begin from the last week of July. The show is going to be shot in Hyderabad. “Siraj-ud-daula does not have a big mention in history text books. Siraj-ud-daula was always happy- go- lucky but when it came to his duties, he proved himself. He was proved to be one of the best kings of that time. He was killed by his own people. He was not taken seriously by the British but later on he proved to be a threat to them,” explained Vineet Raina.

Let’s hope Vineet’s fans accept him in his new role as much as they did in his earlier show.
