After rigorous hunting for the male lead of their show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Balaji has finally chosen Harshad Chopra to play the role of Prem Juneja. Harshad was last seen in Left Right Left and Amber Dhara. Harshad’s on-screen character Prem is son to Lalit and Maya Juneja. Prem is the pillar of strength for the entire family and is looked upon at the time of any crisis.

Talking about his character Harshad says, “This is something that I haven’t done so far. Prem is a very mature man who is romantic at heart and is the strength of his family. He is an ideal son, brother, husband and a person with a golden heart. He has sacrificed his ambitions for his family by entering his family business.”

“Prem would go to any extent to make his mother happy,” adds Harshad.

Harshad got a call from the production house after which there were the usual screen tests and finally luck favoured him and he bagged the lead role. An excited Harshad says, “I am too happy to have bagged this role. It is something that I have not done in my two and a half year old career. The production house is very advanced. For the action sequences that I have done they made sure that my safety was their priority. They had this safety bed which reduced the chances of getting hurt to nil.”

On why he quit L.R.L Harshad says, “I left the show because I was not getting my due as an actor. I want to start afresh. I want to let bygones be bygones. I am very happy with the lead role that I have bagged especially coming from a huge production house like Balaji.”
