Kamya Punjabi aka Sindoora of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann fame is having a tough time playing an aged lady. Earlier, Kamya was sporting her raven black hair open which allowed her to lie down during leisure hours. However, in her new and aged avatar, Kamya has to sport a big bun throughout the day which makes it difficult for her to lie down thereby providing no rest to her ailing back.

“It is very stressful to sit upright through 12 hours a day. Thus, I’m not able to give rest to my troublesome back,” says Kamya.

Another interesting tale with her hairdo is the sudden disappearance of the silver streak. Playing an elderly lady requires one to grey some of her hair. However, Kamya isn’t prepared to go that way. When asked about this, she replied, “I never dyed my hair in any part of the show. I don’t know where the silver streak has come from.”

Not long ago, Kamya had quit Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki for not wanting to play an older woman. Could this happen with Dulhann too? Kamya chides, “No, I see no reason for quitting Dulhann. Talking about Woh Rehne.., I left it because they were going for a second leap. More than looking old or young, I should be convinced of the character. Sindoora is a powerful character and there’s no question of leaving the show.”

It indeed is a bad hair day for Kamya.
