Ajay Krish aka Priyam of
Ardhangini is all set with his future plans after the show goes off air.
It was recently reported that the small screen Devdas saga could not hold the
audience for a long time and thus the team has decided to pull it off air. We
ask the actor of what’s next on his plate? “I’m very interested
in doing cameos in serials. Though I did get a few offers for the same but due
to my commitment for Ardhangini I could not take them up,” says Ajay. Elaborating
on his attraction to cameos Ajay explains, “The best part of such kind of roles
is that the focus is only on you and that too for a long time. Suppose if you
are taken in for three months the track revolves only around you. Even when you
leave the show the mark of your character remains.” There are so
many actors who now wish to do negative roles on television. “I would love to
essay a grey role rather than a bad guy. Over here the strong point is that you
can play with your character. There are no limitations and people also enjoy it.
I would love to play something like Shah Rukh Khan in Darr,” he avers.
Is there anything in the pipeline? “Well offers are there but at the moment
nothing is finalised. One month ago I had a meeting with Ekta and now talks are
going on with BAG films but I’m still not sure. I’ll only take a show if it offers
me something different from what I had been playing. Till then I’m open for cameos
and episodics,” he concludes. If wishes were horses….
