Ekta’s blue eyed actress Prachi Desai’s exit from Kasamh Se has left the producer in a dilemma. It seems that Ekta Kapoor has been hunting for the right face to fill in the vacuum created by Prachi. She has assigned actor-writer Bobby Bhonsle with the job of finding the right replacement.

Reportedly Bobby has shown Ekta some ten profiles but Ekta didn’t approve of any.

Bobby says, “Yes, I have shown her some 10 possible candidates including Miss Nepal and Miss Bangalore but Ekta is unable to find the right face. She wants someone who looks like girl next door.”

Bobby who has written shows like Kahiin Toh Hoga, Kahiin Kisis Roz, Tumhari Disha, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is the one who introduced Aamna Shariff and Poonam Joshi to the world of television. He continues, “The problem with actors is that when they come into the limelight it’s only I, Me and Myself. They just forget the person who has got them here. I have not charged a single penny from them. I do not take the entire credit for the success of the show but I think I deserve at least one percent of it.”

Well as we have said before this is a thankless industry.
