The actress who is currently essaying the role of Gayatri chachi in Saathiya ma ek rang ocho, a daily on ETV, (Gujarati), met with an accident in bandra this morning. Sangeeta was on her to a shoot in her Honda City.

She was waiting for he signal to turn ‘green’ when a truck rammed her car from the rear. Sangeeta who was at the wheel was thrown forward with a jerk. Fortunately she was wearing the seat belt which saved her. But her car has been badly damaged.

Talking about the accident a visibly shaken Sangeeta says, “It’s really bad that I was respecting the law and waiting at the signal though there was not much traffic as it was early morning. But the truck driver came up fast and rammed into my stationery vehicle. I narrowly missed being hurt grievously due to my seat belt or else I would have gone crashing into the windscreen due to the impact. “

There is a lesson here for all motorists, if you obey rules accidents can be majorly avoided.
