Nandini Singh who did Sanjay Dutt and Govinda starrer Ek Aur Ek Gyarah made her mark on television with Balaji's Kesar. She essayed the role of Kesar, the protagonist on the show and eventually became a household name. Nandini then decided to quit the show to take a break from her tight shooting schedule. Now the actress is back in the industry with Sssh Phir Koi Hai.

The lanky lass, during the break, shot for a hit Punjabi album with singer Sukhvinder Shinda. Nandini says, "I took a break but I was very much in the industry. I shot for a music album with Punjabi singer Sukhvinder which was a huge hit. I had also shot for some catalogues."

On her comeback the actress says, "I am reading a lot of scripts. I have recently shot an episodic for Sssh Phir Koi Hai. It was an outdoor shoot of 10 days which happened in Kolhapur. I can't tell you about the story as it would then kill the fun and suspense."
