Model turned actor Siddarth Shukla who essays the lead role of Shubh in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na was scared of his on-screen marriage with the lead actress Aastha Chaudhary.

A little birdie from the sets informs, “Siddarth was very uncomfortable while shooting for the marriage sequence. He was not very happy with the Pandit chanting the wedding mantras. He in fact asked the pandit to avoid chanting the authentic mantras as he was scared that he would get married to Aastha for real.”

Siddarth says, “I was scared as when I found that our pandit ji was going to chant the real mantras which meant that I was getting married for real. I then requested him to jumble the lines so that I do not get married.”

“My parents were also not present to solemnise my wedding,” Siddarth adds jokingly.

The wedding episode will be aired on Wednesday, 26th of March.
