Bobby casts for Shahrukh

Few know that actor-writer Bobby Bhonsle who also helps in the casting for shows is the face behind introducing actresses like Aamna Shariff and Poonam Joshi to the television industry. Recently he has helped SRK with the casting for his IPL team-song. SRK who owns Kolkata team has named it as Knight Riders. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Hegde.

Bobby says, "I was approached by Red Carpet to help in the casting of SRK's IPL team. They wanted people from all walks of life. They wanted taporis, body-builders, theatre artists and beautiful ladies. Cricket is a religion in India and it is a sport that connects masses from each and every corner."

Talking about the faces that he introduced to Red Carpet, Bobby says, "The production house was very clear with what they wanted. There is so much of untapped talent that I have come across. Other than the theatre artists I introduced Miss Bangalore, Miss Goa and many other models."

Though Bobby did not deal with Shahrukh directly with the casting for the team-song but he has worked with him in Josh and was a part of his Eagle gang. Bobby says, "What ever SRK does it has to be a dhamaal. He is full with energy and is very clear about what he wants. I am not the first one to sing his praises."
