Under the gun is the Kapoor family of
Jaipur and the Ubales from Pune. As per the rules, each family is to be represented
by three generations. However, Deepak, who the Kapoors claim to be their son,
is actually not related to the family. On the other hand, Ujjwala, who is shown
as a mother, is actually Shruti Ubale's sister. This shocking revelation was disclosed
after the two families refused to sign the legal agreement. The channel threatened
to disqualify them and it was only then that they revealed the truth. Understandably,
this upset the judges and in particularly Ajay Devgan who didn't hesitate in saying
that this amounted to cheating. The two families pleaded innocence saying they
never had any intentions to cheat. However, Ajay stuck by his guns and said that
rules ought to be followed. In the end it was left with viewers to decide their
fate. We called Arun (head of Kapoor family) but he refused to say anything.
The Ubales were unavailable for comment. Ubale

Under normal circumstances such breach
of rules merits an automatic disqualification but why is it that channel have
left the decision with the public? Director Satish Datt explains "We too
are very upset with this but after reaching at this stage in the competition it's
only fair that the viewers decide their fate." But why didn't the channel
conduct such checks before? Datt quips "It sounds easy but it's always an
uncomfortable situation when you have to ask an individual whether he is the father
of his child. Besides, when one tells that he or she is my wife or children, there's
no question of not believing it. No individual would feel comfortable when asked
to prove his relation with his or her dear ones" This controversial
episode will be aired on 29 March at 10 pm.
