With five shows running and three of them being on top JD Majethia is one happy producer. Hats Off production is producing five serials namely Baa Bahoo Aur Baby on Star Plus, Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family and Ek Packet Umeed on NDTV Imagine, Remote Control on 9X, Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi on Zee.

Actor-producer JD Majethia along with co-producer Aatish Kapadia is now planning to produce movies. He informs, “My first movie will be on the soap Khichdi which aired on Star Plus. I will also act in the movie as I played the role of Himanshu on the show. The film is expected to go on floors by the year end.”

He is also planning to get into the league of reality shows. JD informs, “I want to produce a reality show. At some point of time I thought of a reality show on families and their values. I do have an idea but this is not the right time to speak about it.”

When asked why he is not acting much, JD says, “I am busy making shows so I am left with no time. If I would have to act then the production house will have to make a lot of adjustments for me. But I would love to play Pinakin from Jasuben.”

“I believe when one has the opportunity to do everything he has to let go off some of his best personal interests,” adds the producer.

Ask him what the secret behind his success is, JD says, “To generate one idea everyday is my motto and that’s how you grow.”
