Love is in the air for Ali Merchant who is currently seen in two different dailies (Ek Thi Rajkumari and Amber Dhara). The 23- year- old actor is happy these days and the reason is none other than Anisha Kapoor aka Kalyaani from Dahhej.

Ali and Anisha are fond of each other but they are not in a relationship as yet. “I’m close to Anisha and love her company. Same is the case with her but there is no special relationship currently,” says Ali.

Talking about his feeling for Anisha he elaborates, “Anisha and I share a good comfort zone with each other. She is sweet and I love to be around her whenever I have time. Off late her shooting schedule has taken toll on her health and that really worries me. Once I got to know that she is extremely ill, as I was shooting I could not pick her up so I sent my driver.”

Jab We Met…? “We met at the launch party of Dahhej on 7th January this year and after that we just got along well. Anisha is from Delhi and stays here alone so I and my driver are the only people who can help her. Whenever I complete my shoot I go and meet her,” he informs.

So when is marriage on the cards? “Well it’s just too early to say anything. As I said we are more than friends but not exactly in a relationship. She has just started her career and I want her to concentrate on that. Let’s see what happens in future,” he concludes.

Well like most stars Ali too is no different…with him using the old line, 'we’re just friends'. So when you do hear something concrete remember you read it here first.
